EES is a beautiful help and a comfort to us. But, is there more we can do to feel better or to combat things like cancer, auto immune disorders and other disabling conditions? The answer is Yes.

We can and should be proactive in improving our health. There is a lot we can do, but here are some things to get you started thinking about it.

  • Consume wholesome, whole foods. Avoid processed foods.

  • Stay away from chemicalized foods, sugar and things like pop and soda.

  • Drink lots of water.

  • Get plenty of sleep. Adults should get at least seven hours a night and children more than that. And a daytime nap can be beneficial.

  • Establish healthy friendships that are uplifting and supportive.

  • Seek out and enjoy the beauty in life such as music, art, diversity of culture, nature and so much more.

  • Schedule time for exercise.

  • Spend time outdoors. Look at the broad and ever changing sky, feel the wind in your hair, enjoy rain on your face, smell the fragrances carried on the breeze, and connect with the earth beneath your feet.

  • Be still.

  • Learn to be content and you will find peace.

  • Get lost in a good book.

  • Seek to forgive.

  • Spend time in the dirt. Gardening is restorative.

See how many of these you can include in your daily life. And are there other ways you’d like to add to our list? In the weeks to come, we will dig deeper into the specifics.

Peace to you,
